How the Hell Did We Get Here?

MarkLogic isn’t a feisty little start-up anymore. What began as an idea to build a better search engine 15 years ago in California has grown into a global enterprise database platform with so many features that it takes over an hour just to list them all.

In this presentation we’ll take a look at where MarkLogic started and how it has evolved.  We’ll look into some of the surprising and interesting use cases where MarkLogic has been used in ways that were never envisioned at the time of the company’s founding in 2001.

For those new to MarkLogic this will be an opportunity to learn about the range of possibilities for current and future projects. For the “old-timers” it will be an opportunity to see just how much has changed since your first MarkLogic project (e.g. probably a scholarly publishing platform).
